A "slightly tattered" Whitesnake reformed and went touring in order to promote the Saints An' Sinners album. Recordings for the new album called Slide It In - where does he get those titles from? - began in July 1983, before embarking on a new tour, during which they headlined the Donington festival in August 1983 (available on video). Personel problems eventually arose and Coverdale started looking for new members.
